Which Squarespace Website Package Is Right for Me? (Prices, Timelines & Real Examples)

"Which package should I go for?" is one of the first questions I get asked on a discovery call!

So here's the quick answer:

  • The Bespoke Build (from £1,850, 4 to 6 weeks) is for you if you want a full, custom 5-page website that grows with your business.

  • The Landing Page (from £950, 2 to 4 weeks) is for you if you want something simple and beautiful to get you out there, all on one page.

  • The Expert Day (£450, 1 day) is for you if you already have a Squarespace website that just needs some love.

I'm Ellie, a Squarespace website designer and Squarespace Circle Gold Partner based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Below I'll talk you through each package in a little more detail, with real examples from my portfolio, so you can see which one feels right for you.

The Bespoke Build: from £1,850

This is my core package, and the one most of my clients go for.

You get a fully bespoke 5-page website built around your brand, your story and your personality. It also includes SEO and GEO set-up, so the right people can find you on Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT.

It's right for you if:

  • You offer a few different services that each need their own page

  • You want to show up on Google for what you do and where you are

  • You're ready for a website that looks as professional as you actually are

Real examples: I love how different these projects are! JSH, an engineering firm here in Ipswich, needed room to show off their services, certifications and projects. Bakes by Hester needed somewhere to show wedding, occasion and corporate cakes, all with their own personality. And Ollie Holder, a photographer and videographer, needed galleries and a story behind his work.

"We can't thank Ellie enough for all her hard work, creativity and, most importantly, her input throughout the process." JSH, Ipswich

Need more? Extra pages are £150 each, and e-commerce for up to 10 products is £400.

The Landing Page: from £950

Everything about your business, all on one page that flows beautifully from top to bottom.

It's right for you if:

  • You're just starting out and want to get yourself out there

  • You offer one main service, or run an event or campaign

  • You want a stepping stone before a bigger website further down the line

E-commerce isn't available with this package, but you can always add more pages later.

The Expert Day: £450

Six focused hours spent entirely on your existing Squarespace website.

We'll have a planning call beforehand, so we know exactly what's realistic and where to start. Then I'll spend the day on whatever will make the biggest difference: design tweaks, new pages, copy refinements or SEO.

It's right for you if:

  • You already have a Squarespace site, but it isn't quite working for you

  • You've built it yourself and want a professional eye over it

  • You want to show up better on Google without starting again

If you've ever searched "how to add a drop down menu in Squarespace" at 10pm, this one's for you!

What does working with a Squarespace website designer look like?

Whichever website package you choose, the process is pretty much the same. No lengthy forms, just good chats!

  1. Discovery call. A free chat about your business, your goals and which package suits you. I'll follow up with a proposal covering scope, price and payment terms.

  2. Strategy workshop. Once your 50% deposit is in, we dig into your brand, your competitors and websites you love. We'll also plan your keywords, so your site is set up for Google and AI search from day one.

  3. Content development. You'll get your own client portal to drop in your branding, photos and copy, plus a copy guide with prompts for every section.

  4. Homepage design. I design your homepage first, and we tweak it together until it's spot on. Then I design the rest of your pages.

  5. Build and launch. I build everything in Squarespace, set up your SEO, give you an hour of training, and we launch! Once the final 50% is paid, the website is officially yours.

The Expert Day is a little different. It's a planning call, then a full day on your site with a feedback call before the end.

Squarespace website package FAQs

How much does a Squarespace website cost in the UK?

With me, a Landing Page starts from £950 and a Bespoke Build from £1,850. On top of that you'll pay Squarespace for your plan. Most of my clients suit the Core plan, which is £24 a month or £204 a year. You'll also get free hosting while we build (up to 6 months), plus 20% off your first year.

Do I need a website for my business?

If you want people to find you on Google, trust you and get in touch, then yes! Social media is brilliant, but you don't own it. A website is yours, and it works for you around the clock.

Can I start with a Landing Page and upgrade later?

Absolutely. Lots of businesses start with one page and add more as they grow. It's built in Squarespace either way, so nothing is wasted.

How does payment work?

There's a 50% deposit to get started, and the final 50% is due at launch. Once it's paid, I transfer ownership of the website to you.

How soon can you start?

Most projects can get started within 4 weeks, depending on my diary. We'll chat about timings on your discovery call.

Do I need branding and photos first?

Ideally, yes, but don't worry if you're not there yet! I can create a Mini Brand for Web, and I have some great photographer recommendations if you're in Suffolk.

Still not sure which package is right for you?

That's completely normal, and exactly what the discovery call is for.

We'll have a chat about your business, and I'll tell you honestly which package I think suits you best. Book your free discovery call, or have a nosy at my portfolio first.

Any questions at all, please do get in touch!
